While there are many fine organizations and schools providing performances and even training in acting, singing and dancing, there are virtually none providing the hands-on experiences of costuming, makeup, set construction, lighting, sound, choreography, special effects, prop design and production management.
Even within the various organizations providing performing arts experiences there are very few that provide anything for kids over 12. And in the Rancho Cordova area there are no performing arts theaters for either kids or adults.
We feel teens need a more agressive program, where they can lead, yet learn. Each of our projects includes teens as managers as well as participants, as teachers as well as students.
Our methods are non-traditonal, our goals are lofty, our needs are mighty.
We hope you will find a way to help us. We need donations of many kinds, volunteers for many positions and a new facility to move into.
Everyone is welcome to participate in our projects, or bring us new project ideas. Great things happen when we work together.
